Back to Reality

My internship at Racked National unfortunately ended today, *tear tear*. I learnt so much at Racked and it definitely confirmed that fashion journalism is the field that I want to work in. Everything about my internship was perfect, I didn't feel like a little fashion slave but instead a part of the team. 

I seriously recommend everyone to pursue internships; I don't think that you can truly know what you want to work as until you experience it first hand. 

Anyway, on to an outfit of the day. This is an outfit that I wore to my birthday brunch (and actually continued to wear for my birthday dinner) on the 12th. This dress is so gorgeous and warm and soft and luxe and perfect and form fitting and etc. and etc. I still can't believe I snatched it up for a mere $12.50 at Crossroads Trading Co. since this dress had originally retailed for about $200 in Anthropologie. This dress is a prime example of why I love thrift shopping. Can someone say bargain?!

I'm also in love with this Alexander Wang clutch. I feel like no more details on my love for it are really necessary...

Now that my internship is over I'm going up to stay with my boyfriend at his college for a night before heading on back to California. Urgh, it's all happening too soon!
