Nineteen

Yesterday was my 19th birthday. It's a weird age, I think. There is no new freedom that you gain by being 19 that you didn't get when you were 18. I guess I'm a little bit more of an adult? Eeek, how scary!

I started my day off with brunch at Le Pain Quotidien with my mum. I'm one of those people that falls into the trap of ordering the same thing from the same restaurants again and again, so yesterday I decided to branch out. I ordered the smoked salmon tartine with avocado and dill and it was absolutely delicious. Obviously, I had my addiction cafe au lait on the side. Mmm, mmm. 

The rest of the day was a blast. It wasn't too eventful since I partied and got all ridiculous with my friends this weekend, but it was pleasantly low key.

Last night was the highlight of my actual birthday as I got to eat at my favorite restaurant, Kuma Inn! Then, as if my culinary experience wasn't fantastic enough already, we hopped over to Spot Dessert Bar! I don't have any pictures from Kuma Inn since it's the darkest restaurant in Christendom, but here are some yummy photos from Spot Dessert Bar!
