Gotta Thang For Wang

Guys, I have a confession to make. Ready for it? I think I'm in love with Alexander Wang. Both the man and the brand. Actually in love.

My bank account sure isn't thanking me for this love affair I have, but hey, love is priceless, right? Right...

This oh so sweet love affair started a few years back when I first set my eyes on an Alexander Wang sweater in a Barney's outlet somewhere in upstate New York. So black, so soft, so asymmetrical...  oh so me but also so out of my price range. It wasn't until September of 2011 that I acquired my first Alexander Wang piece. Well, T by Alexander Wang t-shirt, to be exact. It was a blue long sleeved tight cotton t-shirt. I found it at Buffalo Exchange and even though one of the shoulders had become a bit misshapen from the hanger, I wasn't going to let a $30 Alexander Wang shirt pass me by. Next purchase occurred a few months later during a quick shopping trip on Melrose Avenue on the way to a college visit in L.A. I welcomed my new boxy cropped grey turtleneck with open arms.

The third Alexander Wang purchase was wasn't really Alexander Wang. Let's just say it involved a back room of a store in the MBK mall in Thailand, and that I walked out with an "Alexander Wang Trudy Zipper."

The fourth purchase took place in a far more legitimate Nordstrom Rack in Orlando, Florida. It was my most pricy purchase but I was more than happy to part with $250 for THIS baby. My first designer bag that wasn't secondhand, and one of my proudest shopping moments to date.

Since the Marion bag purchase, my "collection" has grown at a rapid rate. To sum things up I'll just tell you that my closet now includes 2 Alexander Wang dresses, 1 T by Alexander Wang sweatshirt, 1 Alexander Wang clutch, too many T by Alexander Wang t-shirts to count, and I present to you two of my latest purchases... this T by Alexander Wang skirt and this Alexander Wang sweater...

skirt- T by Alexander Wang // crop top- ASOS Petite // sweatshirt- Alexander Wang // sunglasses- Ray Bans // shoes- Steve Madden // watch- Marc Jacobs

Next item I'm considering for my Alexander Wang collection? THESE babies. Someone find them cheap for me!
