The City of Angels

It truly felt like spring this weekend. It was finally warm enough to go outside without tights and a cardigan, so I decided to break out my new Topshop skirt and my usual Alexander Wang tee for a day of sun and fun in Santa Monica (by fun I mean shopping, duh).

 (sorry my skirt is twisted, *cringe* // yes, that is an ankle brace, urggghhhh)

I was with my family in LA this weekend, so we stayed at the Sunset Marquis, where we spotted a few famous faces (namely Morrissey!) and got to live in lap of luxury for a couple of days. Such a nice change from the cooped up college life I'm usually living. Obviously, when we weren't relaxing with the creme de la creme, we were shopping. What else do you expect from me? We hit up the usual spots (Santa Monica, The Grove, Melrose Ave, etc.) and got our fair share of thrifting in! I think I'll probably do a little haul soon.
